Thank you for the very helpful info just remember when you're looking for a CDs through a brokerage company you want a non-callable CD + FDIC insurance.

it's a much better deal to put your money in ufb savings at 5.02APY and take it out whenever you want. I'm not gonna risk potential emergencies for a $2 gain on every $1000

is that why the rates posted in OP yesterday are completely different than what's showing on both sites today?
