For those who don't know, this contains casein. Most of the deals posted here are for proteins that are exclusively whey which is the type of protein most people associate with protein shakes. They have different uses. Casein is slowly digested and is usually taken during fasting periods (eg. at night) help make you feel full while building muscle. That's why this is advertised as "8 hour protein". It typically mixes much thicker than whey-only protein which is why I suspect some of the comments about viscosity and poor mixing are from people that didn't know the difference.

I would say 62% protein is pretty bad, people are getting way too excited for low- amount of protein per gram of product.

Not bad, but only 62% protein overall. Also 8 grams of carbs per serving, coming from Maltodextrine. Should be decent for recovery.

Cancelled the strawberry muscle milk order that was delayed till mid April and got this which comes on Wednesday. I also prefer whey- casein blend compared to just whey. Usually order quest protein powder but a bit expensive currently, waiting for 30-40% coupon on those

It's protein powder. If you keep it in a cool dry place it can go way beyond the expiration date.

The sweeteners appear to be acesulfame and sucralose

I find that acesulfame gives an off taste, but different people experience these differently
