Not the same but an FYI, your local library night offer free access to tools like this (Rosetta Stone, Mango, etc.)
Disappointed that they don't have Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, and Korean as part of this pack. Indonesian is a rather odd choice.
Language is a skill that needs to be constantly reviewed. It is a very perishable skill.

I think this is the lowest price we'll see for this babbel since inflation.

Anyone think I should hold off for a $99.99 offer?

Curious why they offer lifetime memberships. I guess if you are really into learning many languages. But if it's good at teaching you wouldn't it seem to make sense you should not need it for your entire life? Do you need 50 years to pick up french?

Great gift for someone at the UN. Maybe Mr Bentley.....

It's also something that is becoming more accessible... Like 10+ years ago, I want to say an individual language program for Rosetta Stone was this price or more. Now that there are so many other options, it feels as if they have to be more competitive. Apps like Duolingo can help a ton, at least initially before dropping money

Finally got this lifetime subscription. Personally I enjoy Babbel more than Duolingo. You can download the content for use in the airplane as well. It was lowest about $100 several years ago. Well the knowledge worths the $50 difference. Thanks for sharing.

Another FYI, lifetime memberships and warranties actually refer to the lifetime of the company: if the company goes out of business, all the lifetime memberships and warranties come to an end.

I've tried a bunch of language apps. Personally I find the free versions of Duolingo and Memrise satisfactory. Duolingo for language structure, with memrise flashcards to grow vocabulary/conversational skills.

How is the learning style different compared with Duolingo? I have been purchasing the yearly subscription for Duolingo when its on SD and its been pretty good.
