So you watched Fall, a film that almost entirely relies on visuals and cinematography, on the back of a plane headrest?
I'll give you your point on plot and dialog but I'm pretty sure everyone expected that going in. Not sure I'd watch it over and over again but it was still an enjoyable movie.

Any recs? Thinking about getting Fall and The Descent, can't seem to find something good for the 3rd choice. Might get Knock Knock for the knockers but I want some dignity.

I have seen Vivarium, 7500, Buried, The Impossible, and Wrong Turn as well, no desire to own or rewatch

if you're okay with hd, "lion" is a great film (but definitely not suspense/thriller/horror)

I just watched Fall on a plane a few hours ago and it very well may be the worst big-budget movie I've ever seen, especially if you have half a brain and/or any climbing experience. I counted at least a dozen plot holes and physical fails within the first 20 minutes.

A solid premise, just needed better consultants. And the dialog was like the same 10 lines over and over. It's like it was written by a 15 year old. Shocking that RT gives it a 79%…it had a few tense moments but was incredibly contrived.

OTOH, I thought the Descent was really good, despite being a superficially cheesy premise. Well done.

The descent is good, depending on what ending they give you. Not a fan of the happy american ending.

Knock Knock is weird but Anna De Armas...

The fall is okay, I didn't like it but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't memorable, so I've watched it a few times now

47 meters down is basically the same as the fall but underwater rather than on a tower, even uses the same schtick

Watched it last night and couldn't wait for it to be over. One of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah, Fall is TERRIBLE. I'm going back and watching 3D movies I missed in the Oculus Rift and Fall is by far the worst. It makes Piranha 3D look like a masterpiece.

Fall was not terrible, but OK Movie which makes it slightly better with both the lead actors cleavage show. Very difficult to find 3 decent movies in this collection pass.

Fall is a good drinking game movie for climbers. Take a drink when the characters do something stupid and you'll be hospitalized before the movie is finished.

I don't get the hate for Fall. While it's a slight and occasionally preposterous, it's an entertaining flick and the girls are cute. This hater called it a "big budget movie" but it was only $3M, but was very clever in how they created the look of being thousands of feet in the air.
