I'm not impressed with this brand. My wiper blades were frozen to the windshield and they easily ripped apart.

Lol my thoughts also, rubber/silicone will rip (silicone has better flexibility and less likely to freeze/stick) either wait for your defroster or lift up your blades if you know it's gona have freezing weather! Also make sure all ice is off windshield, biggest reason people get bad wipers in our region with a good chunk of season has freezing weather. Makes me cringe when people get in cold car, and max out the wiper speed across frozen ice... Doesn't matter what kind of wiper you have, it's gona cause damage. I have pair of El cheapos 5 years going and still in good shape, mind you this vehicle stays parked outside. Clean your blades with 50/50 mix of alcohol and water or just use some windex every month or two and you will get great results

Exactly! I run the Michelin blades fro Costco. They get a bad rap but most people have no idea how to take care of their wiper blades.

I do exactly what you do and I change em out every 2 years in the fall.

I keep the used pair in the back just in case something dumb happens.

I installed them on my car about a month ago. So far, so good. Considering the price, I would be happy if they last 6 months. I don't mind changing wipers twice a year if they cost 3-4 dollars a piece. PS I drive around 30K miles a year.
