I use this stand for my LG 77" G2 OLED that weights approx. 80 lb.. The TV tilts forward slightly, but is quite stable. It is far better than the stand that LG sells for the G2, and the value can't be beat.

Edit: The stand doesn't have to look as ugly as it is in the picture. My TV is mounted much lower, and all you can see are the feet. Looks very subtle.

All mounting holes are round, there is no elongated slot hole. I had to make one to mount my Panasonic TV.

Same for me, but I used the same code on a previous purchase. Love the TV stand and wish I could purchase another at this price!

I'm not sure for others, but I could see picking this up to have the TV higher on my stand for viewing pleasure without mounting it, plus allowing clearance for a sound bar or etc under it.

I've mounted 4 TVs in my house and have thought about trashing the stands - instead of keeping them piled up in the basement. I would assume if I did throw away and moved, I might need a replacement stand if I don't mount everything up again

I bought one of these a year ago for $20 for my 50 inch Vizio. Works great. Very solid metal. Easy to set up

Funny that you speak about the TV stand that came with the TV. My parents owned a 40-ish inch LG LCD tv for the entertainment room. The stand somehow broke, and that was over seven years ago. Funny enough I provided them with a stand, and they gave it to a family friend who didn't have a TV stand at all or their TV.

Not sure if the family friend bought the TV secondhand, but right away a broken TV stand or a secondhand. This will come in handy.
