If you pre-order from Best Buy for store-pickup, Best Buy likes to slap stickers on their items so watch out.

Looks great, but this hardware really needs a processor/GPU upgrade.

Got 1 yesterday from BB, likely will keep it in my collection new. I agree immediate resellers probably won't be able to profit off of these but those that hold will probably be able to see a good return. I don't typically sell my collection but it's fun to look at the value of all my Zelda 3DS editions and Amiibos.

Don't forget taxes if it's over $600, too. Since it's a 1099, it's self-employment tax, and is a bit convoluted if you're not used to it. Some of the self employment tax is also non-refundable, even with the "inventory" cost of the original purchase bringing the net profit below $600.
Well does ebay report to the IRS?
Not like I am going to self report
ORS is BS , you already paid income tax on the $360 you will be paying for the switch OLED TOtK edition, so if you sell it for say $650 then you will be taxed on $650 as income even though you actually only got $250
They want to keep taxing the same money over and over.
You only made $250 not $650
I bet you get taxed on the full amount and not just the profit even though you already got taxed on the money you used to buy the switch.
And also there are the PP fees.

I know this will be a collectible and probably fetch north of $500 some day but man, I echo the sentiment that this hardware is really aging. It was slow in 2017 and even slower today. I really hope we see a revision to the hardware soon, when in reality the tegra chip inside is from late 2015…
Don't worry, when the revision comes out it in 2025, it will have a chip from 2017

Agreed, it's deterred a lot of eBay activity due to the IRS overreach on selling products that have already been taxed 3 times over.

Let's hope the IRS Doesn't start showing up at garage sales lol

Wow game not included. What a bunch of cheap bastards over at Nintendo. Every console themed exclusive over at Xbox and Playstation always includes the game as well.

I love the legend of Zelda too like the rest of you all. I'm just in shock and it just seems like they are trying to squeeze out every dime, nickel, and penny.

Most phones in the last 5 years have been more powerful than the Switch.

So you think Nintendo would give away a $70 game which is poised to be one the best selling games of all time for free?

Hahahahahahahahaba

Because it's a special edition console…no game is included. Nintendo rarely does that unless it's bundling its old non-OLED MODEL. Sony/MS don't even do this anymore unless it's at a higher price.

False. Point me to recent consoles which include a brand new game not being sold at a premium.

ILL WAIT

Best buy cancelled my order of one console for being over the order limit of one. So go tech company I guess.
