Was looking at s7 + or s8+ but then i got a deal for lenovo p11 pro gen 2 and i m glad i saved a lot of $$

I have both the S7+ and the S8U. If you don't play games a lot, there are no noticeable differences in daily use.

I also ended up going for the 6GB P11 Pro Gen 2 (actually posted the deal here on SD). Got it for under $260 with CB. It's been great so far and is substantially lighter than the Samsung's newer OLED Tablets as it is 11" vs 12.4" (S7+/S8+). I think the size and weight of the P11 Pro G2 hits a sweet spot for a tablet. Anything heavier than about a pound is too much for me to hand hold. Even a pound can get a bit uncomfortable after a while hand held. I wish they made an Android OLED tablet with the form factor of the iPad Mini. Can't justify spending $400 (on sale) on an iPad Mini considering it doesn't have a 120Hz OLED display like my P11 Pro.

Best to wait until Samsung has a sale on this tablet. They will probably give you $350+ for your trade-in.

They used to. I miss those S2 8 inch tablets. Can't believe they stopped making them. Was the perfect form factor for night time reading.

I have the 256gb version and I love it...unfortunately I had samsungs keyboard case cover dropped it and the screen shattered. So make sure you get a strong case for it and don't drop it. I haven't sent it for replacement yet but I think think they will charge around 450...so there'd that lol

$280 was my quote direct from Samsung. That was back in 2021. S7+ (plus). Call them directly. Good luck.
