I've been wanting to get a rear handle saw for a while, but didn't want the Makita 36v with the two batteries. Couldn't pass this one up! Return the free battery to get the $172.59 price for the saw, charger, case and 4ah battery!

Good deal, picked this up last year, great saw. But doesn't work on Makita track like the top handle one does

Some people just do it to do it. Seems like a decent deal if you want to return the battery.

This 100%. It's the method that is getting thumbs down. Look back at old posts.

Good deal although I'd probably keep the battery. The 36 volt rear handle saw is super disappointing, I could barely cut 2x4's with it without it binding, kicking back and stalling out.

Lol... That opinion is not in line with industry findings. It's one of the better saws on the market

Take a look at the blade direction. Mine was doing the same thing until i noticed wtf they installed the blade backwards from the factory. After i switch it around, the saw cuts so fast no lack of power.

User error 100%. That saw is one of the best available.
