Got 1. Dunno how good the Pocket 3 will be, but it looks like the Pocket 2 was a mediocre upgrade (and in some ways a downgrade), so when I look at the likely price point of ~$400 vs this one at $109 there's no way I can justify the difference. Thanks OP.

Charge you for what, return shipping? I have never encountered a company wanting to charge for a warranty repair after 2 months when it is covered for 1 year.

Charging you if it's something NOT covered under warranty is pretty standard (physical damage/water damage etc) but if it's an defect issue that is within the warranty window, I don't see how keeping a paperweight is any benefit to you as opposed to sending it in. If you bought it last June and it's a 1 year warranty, I'd still get it replaced while you can. And if you bought it with a good CC, you likely have additional warranty too.

I bought this years ago and ended up selling it as I didnt use it as much. The small screen and short battery life was an issue for me. It would get rather hot at 4k recording since it would need more power to record it.

I dont know where else you can find a cam as small as this with a built in gimball for $109. I own a insta 360 x2 and that is $400. The 1 yr warranty on this makes it slick.

A lot of Osmo Pocket 1 users had issues with the built-in mic. Mine doesn't work. So I had to buy an external mic. Did they fix this issue already?
