Not a very good selection of tools. Mostly bottom end tools.
May not be their higher end stuff, but I'd say the individual prices reflect that...
I want to say driver and saw are around 50-60% good prices of their stronger brothers
Really considering that heat gun.
Someone talk me in or out of it.
I also considered the ryobi one, as I have both batteries.
Some people poo-poo it on battery life or performance but it's worked great mainly used for heat shrink for me as well. It's kind of a dumb tool when you consider the price of a corded, but like so many cordless tools it's way nicer to just grab it and a battery and carry it out to wherever, and if I'm doing heat shrink in a car dash I don't want a cord running around me while I'm doing it. If you want it for something that requires maximum heat, or long usage like removing paint or something, it's probably not the ideal tool. If you just randomly need a heat gun and would prefer one without a plug, it's probably going to work great for you.
Someone please explain "hackable". I would be in for the brushless impact if I can return the battery kit & get the impact for $69.
Buy both items, return the battery. You used to be able to order them different delivery methods and cancel the item you didn't want by picking shipment for it and store pickup for the other, but I believe they've closed that loophole by making you use the same pickup method for both. Now typically your choice is pick up at two different stores and leave the item you don't want to be returned for non pickup, or just pick both up, and then return what you don't want. Some stores/cashiers try and make you do both, but there's never been a policy or mechanism that actually prevents you from doing it.

Thanks! In for the Atomic 1/4 impact, which is the only brushless tool in this deal. I'll have to watch for these deals now that I know.

Dewalt says 42 minutes with a 5ah on low setting. Id expect less than half that on high.
This doesn't replace a corded heat gun for most applications but for small stuff its great.
