Pixel 7 ($299 NLA)and Pixel 7 Pro ($399) on sale with activation. $10 activation and $30/month for Spectrum Internet Customers. No contract.

I just activated a new number with Spectrum and paid for the phones in full. Called the next day, asked to have them unlocked, and now have cricket sim cards in them. Long story short, pay in full, they unlock, you get a pixel phone ready to go on any carrier.

Could you please share a link for the $600 new unlocked S22+ ↵
It's only $580 now (128GB) -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/155277431402
30-day warranty. Extended to 90-days if you leave them 5* feedback.
I've had no issues since I got it on Feb 24.
(Oh, I was expecting faster Qi wireless charging. Instead of 15W, I think I'm only getting about 5-7W on the two chargers I've tried it on)

PS - Here's a pretty decent $4 case I got for it. -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/265565403384

I really wanted a Pixel 7 pro, but from the research I did, there seemed to be hit or miss, reliability/connectivity issues with the Wifi, mobile data & missed calls.
Hence the big price drops, imho. [Any other guesses?]

So a month ago, I bought a new, unlocked $600 Samsung Galaxy S22+ instead.
[So far, the main thing that bothers me about it is the less reliable/quick on-screen fingerprint reader. Face unlock wasn't much better. I'm surprised that my 4yo Redmi Note 7's behind the phone fingerprint reader was better.]
I have a pixel 7. Second one, as the first had to be replaced within 3 weeks of launch. I was very excited to get a pixel, it's my first.

And it sucks. Unreliable fingerprint sensor, periodic freezes. I traded in a 2 year old galaxy S20FE, and I feel like I *downgraded*.

No go here in N Cal as apparently no coverage here. Looks to be the same as US Cellular which has the same limited coverage in the US.

No surprise there, all the phone with on-display fingerprint senors are not as good as physical sensor......

Never Spectrum never no. I bought a galaxy A20 from them when they first came out. Or A22, can't remember its been years. Anyway they unlocked it after 60 days. When I left their trash service for another MVNO come to find the device was SIM Unlocked, but still carrier locked. That phone is still carrier locked to this day due to the custom Spectrum ROM installed on the phone. APN settings greyed out with literally like 10 different SIM cards popped in it. Multiple hours on the phone bitching to Spectrum Mobile representatives about the issue. Some of them were very sympathetic and were like yeah there's really nothing we can do about that sorry, we can escalate it to higher tiered support (which I did multiple times) but it just went no where. The phone was permanently carrier locked to Spectrum. I could make calls and send texts no problem, but phone hard locked APN settings to spectrum in the firmware so could not connect to mobile data with any other provider. Never was a way to flash custom ROM onto a U.S. galaxy A20, and still to this day as far as I'm aware. That being said, yeah they will SIM unlock your phone, but if they happened to have custom ROM on that Pixel 7 it may basically be carrier locked to Spectrum permanently. That's my experience. Maybe yours will be much better. I hope so! But I will never deal with Spectrum ever again. Other than internet cuz they have monopoly in my area. But yeah.
GOOD LUCK !!
Anyone find out if this is still true?

To the members who have already paid a mobile bill. Will I be able to pay my mobile bill with credits from my TV/Internet account? Or does the required autopay immediately charge my credit card on file?
