2 year warranty, AND you can add apple care? This is def a better deal than the 1700 open box, 90 day warranty on woot.

I think there was some confusion because Costco's site insists on defaulting to Silver which is sold out. Space Gray available. and it's a SOLID price considering the questionable warranty open box version of this was $1700 at Woot a few days ago. You also get the extra year warranty at Costco, 90 day returns and discounted AppleCare if you choose to go that route.

Thank you - finally bite it at this price. Was waiting for a Macbook air 15 inch, but this is too good a deal to pass and looking at the way Apple has been releasing products, it is two steps forward one step back, so this is probably going to be better value anyway.

Keep an eye out for Bluetooth issues. Recently bought m1 Mac mini and a m1 MacBook air and the Bluetooth issues are absolutely abysmal. Was planning on using Universal Control but that's impossible unless you are a few inches away. Then the more you dig the more you'll notice there's a lot of reports about Bluetooth and wifi interference. Nice products but with the lack of upgradeability and repairability (and basic functionality at times) the company isn't what it once was.
