I would not recommend walmart+. Seems like about 75% of the items I want they either won't ship or require a scheduled delivery (which usually either requires or strongly requests a tip). I honestly find myself hardly ever using walmart+ because of this caveat. I'll be discontinuing my service next go-round if that doesn't change. Feel like it was a bait and switch when they promised free shipping and then it turned out it was only on select items.

Not sure but I always find Walmart a bit wonky.

I don't have the + account and I wanted to order an $1 item for pickup. It was not available but free delivery was available. They had someone drive from a neighboring Walmart just to deliver me a $1 item. Not that I'm complaining. I think the gas and time of the employee exceeds that $1 item. Lol

Walmart+ and InHome has been amazing for me compared to Amazon Prime. The delivery fees pay for InHome itself in only 4 orders, plus the drivers are great here. For an elderly or disabled person, it's even better because they'll go inside and even put up groceries for them. You can choose to get a Smart lock for them to use. With Amazon adding fees to Amazon Fresh delivery under $150 now, it doesn't make sense to stay with them. With Walmart + InHome, they'll pick up any Walmart returns, box free, at your home with one of their associates. The InHome app sends you a photo and background of the associate doing your delivery and you can track it live. Having an elderly parent, it's taken one less thing off both of our minds now that she's taken care of too.

Door dash delivers the order not walmart employees.
Not with the Walmart InHome service for the extra $40. An actual Walmart van with a Walmart employee in Walmart uniform delivers. No tipping. I think InHome is only available in select areas.

You can even give them access to your door lock or garage PIN and they will deliver straight to your fridge even while you are not there. They record with bodycam. I haven't done this yet, not sure if I want a stranger digging in my fridge...

The regular home delivery is different.

I find shopping at Walmart chaotic here in the North East. It's like when your kids begs you to go to a 5 and below store on weekends.

That default 7$ tip per order. I never tip. Tipping is getting out control.

The $35 minimum is for grocery deliveries. Even Amazon has that on their Amazon fresh or Whole food delivery part. So does instacart.

There is no $35 minimum on many other walmart stuff that are not considered under grocery and have free shipping with no min.
Do they ask you to tip on non grocery orders below $35?

That is what I am saying. Walmart Inhome [walmart.com] is different. It is Walmart employees for sure. You do time slots different as well. Like 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm kind of thing.
how can i check if the inHome addon is available for me before i signup for this walmart+ offer? when i click on your link, i see a "start trial" but not sure if its even available.

Lots of good information in this thread. And a bit of misinformation that's probably the result of different services in different areas (like InHome, which is a huge value driver for me). I'm not going to write a full list of benefits, but I'm surprised not many are mentioning the 10 cent per gallon gas benefit. If you don't mind going to Murphys or ExxonMobil, it can actually pay for the membership. Easily ~50 bucks a year saved for me (12000 miles at 25 miles per gallon= 48 bucks).

This is great for grocery deliveries.... when items are actually in stock. I average about 1 to 2 items not in stock each time eventhough they show in stock. Of course it always what I wanted the most.

Walmart inhome?Walmart express? I thought I had Walmart Plus! Turns out Walmart plus is mostly unusable without add on services if you don't want cancelations and want smaller orders. At least Amazon was upfront about the pricing. I switched to Walmart plus because it was cheaper.
