Taiko no Tatsujin controller "Taiko and Stick for Nintendo Switch" Japanese ver. https://a.co/d/cIEoO2g

For anyone wanting to go super serious about this game. Go with the Hori drums. Hori tends to be the go-to for quality peripherals, often times making them for the 1st party.
In my personal experience all Hori items have been too notch. Worth the import tax (price vs American options).

Do you know how much the hori drum goes for in Japan in JPY? I have an upcoming trip there and if it's actually cheaper than the US model for better quality, it may be a fun souvenir

I am assuming he Hori drums are the Jap ver. $80 Hori vs $40 Armor 3 drums.
I imagine if you can get the drums cheaper in Japan but plan on bringing them back then the added price for getting them right now will probably offset anything that you'd have to pay in shipping or luggage fees from Japan.

Have fun though!!!

I'm already going to Japan. I Will already have luggage so no extra fees. My kids going to want some garbage anyway so it might as well be something fun vs something that will collect dust on the shelf.
Pre-kid, I remember bringing back a pretty good USB joystick arcade stick for not much money versus the US imported cost.

The bundle doesn't give you any additional discounts compared to buying both separately.

The bundle doesn't make any sense to be linked here. It's just a standard $45 drum that Amazon put together with the actual deal on the game.

I was in Japan in February. It's so cheap compared to American prices. Especially Japanese brands. I can't comment on the Hori drums specifically, but odds are good that you'll find a decent price.
