Looks like they added a second game, in case you want to add that to your post.

When I switch to desktop mode and click "get", I receive a more helpful "device not supported" error.
I'm able to successfully get Dying Light on mobile, though, and almost every other weekly freebie. Bummer that the restriction should only apply to shapez, when I'm actually more likely to play that game (eventually).
edit: The issue seems to have been fixed.
I'm unable to "get" either Dying Light or shapez. I've tried multiple browsers on both mobile and PC in both normal and incognito modes, as well as through the Epic Games desktop app.
On all browsers (both desktop and mobile), I get an error message of "An error occurred during checkout. Please try again later."
Through the Epic Games desktop app, I get an error message of "An unexpected error has occurred. Timeout of 5000ms exceeded" overlaid over the number 500 (which is the HTTP status code for a generic server-side error).
I also tried adding them to my cart and then checking out instead of using the "get" button (again via multiple browsers on both desktop and mobile, as well as the Epic Games desktop app), but that still resulted in the same errors described above.
If anyone is able to acquire these games successfully, can you let us know what OS/browser you used and the steps you took (i.e., did you use the "get" button or did you "add to cart" and then "checkout", were you in incognito mode, etc.)? Thanks.
Edit: As of 12:40pm ET, I was able to get both games by spamming the "get" button. I still got the error 5-6 times in a row for each, but eventually I got through to the checkout screen. So, to answer my own question for anyone else still struggling with the errors, just keep clicking "get" after each error, and you should eventually make it through to checkout. Hope that helps!
