This has been my mower for 2 seasons now. I have a town home with a 10x20 front yard and 20x20 backyard. It has been great for my needs. The battery lasts me a few mows. I mow once a week so I don't have to worry about the mower bogging down. When you do hit taller grass you can hear the motor give it a bit more punch. It is pretty much entirely plastic so it is very light weight/easy to move which is nice if you store it somewhere other than the garage floor. The only thing I don't like about it is the height adjustment. You have to adjust the front and back independently. Most mowers have a lever that adjusts the whole mower at once, this does not.

The trimmer is also nice. The neck is height adjustable and the head can turn so you can edge. It obviously isn't as good as a real edger but it gets the job done.

If you are already in the black and decker family of lawn tools then this is a decent purchase.

Do the Craftsman V20 batteries work interchangeably with the Black and Decker 20V MAX lawn line? I have a lot of the B&D 20V stuff, but I didn't know that worked with these Craftsman tools (I know they are both owned by B&D).

Not sure. I don't have any black and decker tools. You could search Google and see it anyone makes adaptors for them. I know that people 3d print adapters to use different batteries in different tool lines.

I purchased this even owning an acre yard. I enjoy push mowing as an exercise… call me crazy.

Pro tip: craftsman makes 9ah batters that will work on this for much longer run times.
