It's not the $79 deal but it's also not a needle in a haystack. Two 4Ah batts and a charger for $99 shipped is good enough for me.

Just an FYI, the $79 deal was available online for everyone, far from a needle in a haystack. The 6ah 4ah MO batteries were a needle in a haystack.

I went for the 2+4+6Ah Max combo at 179. Doesn't come with a charger, but I already have a charger from this 2x4Ah (non-Max) deal I got years ago. Seemed like a decent price. I like the idea of 2Ah for small quick things because they are way lighter, and the 6Ah should be a nice addition.

Saw that today while at HD, how good of a deal is that? Picking up the trimmer soon and not sure if I really need MO batteries.

Not sure, to be honest. It seems like it's an on-going deal. Construction is kind of shit on these new batteries, to be honest. Cheap plastic, no non-skid rubberized outside, and they just feel like toys. I only really like the 2Ah because it's so nice and light - I'd like more of those. 6Ah is kinda nice in that it's the same footprint as 4Ah, but that shit construction makes me sad. This used to be a better made product. 4Ah, I am not sure - I'd rather have the old, unless there's something I am missing.
