I used a regular two handed version trying to remove a stubborn sapling stump buried near my fence line and found it difficult to maneuver given that particular situation so I picked up a one handed model just for outdoor use. I actually bought this Ridgid model in store and the very next day Ryobi's one handed model was available online for the same price but included a battery and charger so I bought that one instead and returned the Ridgid. Never took it out of the box so can't speak to its use but for tight spaces and certain outdoor applications I can see where a one handed saw would have its benefits.

Ahhh. I see. Thanks for the tips.
Easy way to do it is set the one you want to ship to your store, set the other for pickup at another store and just don't pick it up.

That 24v Sun Joe with battery, charger and blades, from a deal about a month ago, is still on for $32.97 over at walmart. For anyone looking for a much cheaper, but probably lower quality option. This deal reminded me one was still setting in my cart, when I didn't buy it then.

That's next level. The type of thing that makes SD a great place. Thanks!

I'm in CT, so I set my other pickup for San Bernadino.

For cutting small stuff and pvc pipe, thats a good price. I bought Sun Joe and Green Works cheap stuff and got my monies worth. That being said, I have lots of Ridgid tools and bats and in hind site should have just spent more and stayed on one platform. Having Greenworks, Hart, Worx, Ego, Ridgid... bats and chargers is a bit of a pita...

This thing is bigger than I was expecting (I've seen plumbers with the m12 version), but it has its uses over the full size. Forget what I paid but I can now hold a cordless recip saw in each hand, so that sounds like a win.
