Sustained writes on this drive aren't that quick compared to competition (it's quite a bit slower than SN850X, for example). This does have probably the fastest random reads (but not the random writes), which might translate to faster real-world usage. Not sure if that justifies a much higher MSRP though.

This is a competitive price point for sure, compared to that inflated MSRP. Let's hope it has the reliability of Samsung's old Pro lines (with the new firmware).
