I bought thia a couple of weeks ago battery is not great. I had to turn off always on display, dim down to the last setting, wifi off. This way it'll last about 16 hours.

Just a heads up for those looking at this deal who have used a Samsung watch before - this watch runs on Wear OS (Google's wearable platform) whereas older Samsung watches use an in-house developed OS called Tizen. I only have experience with Tizen OS, but my understanding is that Wear OS opens the watch up to Play Store applications whereas Tizen watches are locked to the Samsung Galaxy store.

I've had this for about a year. I got my watch for $100 as a promo when I got my S22 ultra. It's good for me. I'm one of those leoplr that expects to do everything on my actual phone. My watch is got tracking my biking, getting message notifications, and occasionally taking a call if my hands are full and I can't get to my phone. I don't expect my watch to be a super computer

It's true. My first watch was run on Tizen but this galaxy 4 classic is what I've had for about 9 months now. I really like it. I had a few other wear OS watches between my first and current watch and it's great to see the progression of wear OS

i've always liked the idea of smart watches but could never get into the habit of using it daily. just an extra thing to worry about charging and the benefits are minimal. maybe you can talk on the phone with it in the once a month situation where your hands are tied lol

unless you are into extreme fitness, want to track every step and movement. i can almost see a case for that. but you might be better off getting a garmin for that purpose with their week long battery

FYI if you have T-mobile you can get the Watch 5 w/ LTE for free with 2 years of service ($10/month, or $5/month if you have magenta max plan).


Effectively $240 for the watch with 2 years of free 5g service for it (calls, text, gps, etc anywhere even without your phone)

Not a bad deal. If it ships by Walmart from Walmart there shouldn't be any funny business going on . I bought one of the supposedly "new" Watch4 Classics from Amazon 3rd party and not only was it not new (very well refurbished), its battery was shot - it had been lying around in a discharged state because it wasn't properly factory reconditioned.

Hopefully if this has come straight from Samsung to Walmart the battery is in reasonable shape, even if it's been sat in a warehouse for the better part of 2 years.

Yeah, the 44mm is the one you want. Turn off the GPS for a big battery savings.
