Not cross platform yet, but does have spilt-screen and internet co-op. I've spent many hours with my kids on the game, definitely worth it even full price, especially at a discount.

Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3d world with Bowsers Fury are great 3d Mario games and highly recommend them.

Other than that most 1st party games on switch are above average experiences.

Exclusive games to the switch are more of the indie titles or portable versions of things on other systems.

Personally I was really surprised with Ubisofts Mario vs Kingdom Rabbids series it's really deep mechanically and a lot of fun. Plays great in hand held or docked.

I didn't like Terraria with a controller at all.
