Diamondback bikes are very comparable to trek, specialized, etc. They generally have 3 models of each frame. They start with the lower spec components and work their way up. If you ride a Mountain bike just on the street you'll barely notice any difference between any caliber of bike. As soon as you hit an actual bike trail with rocks, stumps, quick up and down hills that can get steep really quick - you'll be able to tell a difference from Walmart bikes instantly. Shifting up and down quickly on a steep and sharp hill will make you appreciate a dropper post, hydrolic brakes, and the better shifts that don't jump to a smaller chain ring when you are pumping hard up a hill! Diamondback is a great brand that can get you started in a real bike for a good price and upgrade parts as you grow!
Ya.. 50 off their inflated msrp

I didn't know anything about bike. I thought Diamondback was not a good brand for bike. It was like a box brand bicycle. Walmart, Target and Costco used to sell diamond back bikes. How does it compare to Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cannodale. I used to have diamondback Bike. I got it like half price. I sold it because it is bad. To Bike experts, Mason 1 or Trek Marlin 5 Gen 2 or Specialized Rockhopper 2 or Canondale Trail 5
The Release full suspension bikes are really well equipped and can be found for up to $1,000 less than what's priced on their site. If you can find a Release 2 or 3 for low $2k, that's a solid deal.

What are you talking about? Sort by price is right there. As of the bikes - I don't get a $500 MTB with 30t single front chainring, 8 speed and 32 max size rear cog like their Hook. Their Mason 1 with 10 speed Deore for $529 is a solid deal
