Yes you shouldnt have a problem as long as its not blacklisted and factory reset. Samsung doesnt care about what carrier the trade in is.

The a53 is a very nice and capable phone. I was definitely impressed. I got the end of the Metro deal last year. I'm going to trade it in and get the 854. I never used this with service as I have two flips, one waiting in case this one breaks and doubt two breaks then I could use the a53... But I used the 853 for photography and filming.

They sell new for $200 and $220 locked to Total Wireless and Tracfone, which has a 60 day lock.

Probably will go down another $50 in a month or two.

This A54 now has the OIS lens which is a big improvement. It is using Samsung processor instead of QCOM snapdragon for the S. No wireless charging if it is a must for you.
