I regret sighing up for 'unlimited' - it's extremely limited. only 35g a month, only 5 hotspot. their limited plans strangely give you up to 15g.

Can this be used for existing lines or just new activations?

My FREE 3 MONTHS deal will expire in a couple of months.

Yep, playing the old "embrace & extinguish" game. Was good while it lasted. *sigh*

Which is just stupid - data is data. The fact they *still* get away with segmenting how it's used is beyond ridiculous & is just another example of how big business owns the government - especially the "good old boys" types.

I jumped on the last deal from mint. I am regretting it. I live in a major metropolitan in CA. I have very spotty data network with Mint. It does not work at most part of the places, I have to go. Fortunately, I get working network at my home and good one at my work. I will move out after 6months. I must admit that Mint is good deal, if you live in a area with good coverage.

They're increasing to 40gb and 10gb hotspot starting 4/14, the limited plans hotspot counts towards your total data. If you want truly unlimited, I suggest Visible.

T-Mobile bought Mint. Can't imagine any good reason for them to have yet another MVNO to manage other than to eliminate competition. I could be wrong, but I'm the cynical type.

that's definitely not an example of how big business owns the government. Businesses trying to maximize profit is inherent to a business. Now if we had a monopoly of cell service providers and the government defended the monopoly, that would be an example.

Any suggestions on what to buy? Can't come up with anything I'd want to get with $25 gift card.
