Why not. Just gonna be annoyed by the last contractor removing the outlet and hardwiring it back in, gonna have to pay to have it added

Most of the bad reviews are due to Costco install service not the dishwasher it seems.

How much extra? Is it by same installer? Our current dishwasher is hardwired.

Please don't buy this dishwasher… it's actually the Maytag that I'm currently looking to replace. The control panel no longer works as intended and the replacements costs around $100 which isn't worth it. I'm looking into kitchenaid cause I've heard good things. Of course Costco has a great return policy and everyone has different experiences I'm just saying that this exact dishwasher I am replacing right now

I am replacing my kitchenaid because it leaks a baking pan of water each cycle.

What fee? They install it for you free so if you don't need it then you don't need it. Can't expect them you give you a refund for something free.

50db will be relatively quiet. Judging by the reviews most were pleased with how quiet it was.
It's actually coming from front down part of machine. Can't insulate there easily.

We bought this to replace a Samsung one that didn't even last 3 years. So far so good. I installed it myself since it's pretty simple. Mine said Made in the USA on it but I'm not sure if they still are.

Good deal, OP. Being watching this for a while. It was $499 last year. The price went up a bit this year to $529. This is way better price than the $499 Whirlpool store display model.

Curious is 50db on high side or good? Ours 15 yrs dishwasher came with house so not sure what number that is .
We've had two whirlpool washers previously, which were basic contractor grade.

Our previous washers were so loud that we tried to only run them at night. If we ran them with the TV on, we'd have to crank up the volume.

This one is practically silent to us. I honestly can't tell when it's on, even when I'm standing a couple of feet away.
