Has Lenovo quality improved? I got their die pad 5 line a year ago and the webcam no longer works. Issue with the driver since win 11 upgrade. Even with the latest driver, still cant' get it to work.

I purchased this last month and I am impressed with the build quality. The system is stable and fast. Love the screen as well.

I had purchased Lenovo slim pro 14.5 inch which I ended up returning and buying this one. Machine is light as feather and yet it feels solid

Any possibility of expanding the ram on this? I have a NVME stick just laying around that I want to throw in if possible

unsure on ram expansion. Honestly I couldn't tell the difference between this and Lenovo Slim Pro (32GB ram). For what I do 16 GB DDR5 felt blazing fast. I am not a gamer

Nope, they have soldered the ram to the motherboard so well. You can upgrade these hard drive you're "stuck" with 16 gigs.

Not sure how this is a deal. $900 for a Macbook Air knock-off. I'll spend a couple hundred more for something that with a capable graphics card.

Previous gen M1 MacBook Air with 16gb RAM and 1TB SSD is $1,599, if you wanna compare both. Big difference in price. May not be worth it for you, but I'm sure it'll be a deal for plenty of others.

I think the LG Gram 14 that is (was?) On sale is a much better deal. SSDs are the cheapest they've ever been and you can get 1TB for $40 and upgrade any laptop with a removable or extra slot. The only thing is that th LG gram thermals are a big bottleneck.

I ve this laptop and the hinge broke just after a years use. I was surprised by that so googled a bit and it seems its a common problem. There is even a law suit against Lenovo for the poor design of himges.

Based on that i would suggest giving this a miss.

How is the battery life? A few Costco comments say 4 hours, is it true?
