You know you're an experienced SDer when you don't trust the sale price on the retailers site (ie $520 off) and instead you look at what you can buy it for elsewhere to know what your REAL savings is 😀😀

The whirlpool got dinged for poor drying of plastic dishes (1/5) and a manually cleaned filter. The Maytag cons were no third rack and noise.

Thanks! I bought one a few weeks ago at 699 and just asked costco for price adjustment. The dishwasher is pretty good. The 3rd rack is pretty handy.

The downside for me is that the normal cycle is 3+ hours. And the installation service is a bit sketchy. Costco outsourced the installation to a local company. They showed up with a rental truck. Then they washed the manuals while testing the dishwasher.

Not an expert. Just did some research before landing on this one. This is probably somewhere between Bosch 100 and 300. It has stainless steel tub and a 3rd rack.

The price is probably the main factor for me. In my area, installation alone will cost 250-300 for a Bosch. So the total price from Costco is much lower.

As a reference, the highest rating was 79 for a Bosch SHEM63W55N and 77 for Ikea Essentiell

Blah. $200 less is real tempting and it's much nicer. People complained about the handles on this whirlpool being flimsy, Ikea looks sturdy with more wash cycles.

Was just at Costco looking at dishwashers, I know ours is on it's last leg, Jenn Air purchased 1997.
Looking for a deal in Black or black stainless front.
