I am not sure what was the lowest price on this recently. But $90 off seems great anyway.

Have been trying to decide between a SimpliSafe or a Ring system, and I think I am leaning Ring at this point. However, does anyone know if Ring has put sales on for this same style bundle but with the outdoor battery operated camera? Not really needing an indoor camera at this point in time.

I recently went with Ring over Simplisafe due to the $200/year plan that would basically be free with home insurance discount. I've been really happy so far. Calls have been very timely (only false alarms so far). I believe you can use this battery camera outdoors as well.

I'm on the grandfathered plan of $100 and yes it's basically free because of the discount my home insurance gives me. Rings equipment has held up perfectly over the years as well.

How does that work? Do I have to check with my home insurance or SimplySafe? Thanks for the information.

Do I have to check with home insurance if they provide that?

I bought 2 of a very similar bundle direct from Amazon last year; even though the products use the same app, the security and cameras are essentially different product lines. I've never seen security stuff bundled with cameras, even doorbells.

Yes. Usually around $100 or so a year but that's highly YMMV.

It's tough to say, because you might need more or less than what's provided. IF you won't use the CO detector, then it's useless to you or you could resell it.

What you need to do is get a tally of what you need component-wise - count windows, doors, etc, then price out buying multiple kits or individual components. In my case it was significantly cheaper buying multiple kits than one kit + many separate components. What sucks about that route is that each hub is basically one physical address/location, so I have an extra hub kicking around I'm never going to use.

Check with your insurance. They will let you know, if they give you the discount you can download the certificate from the website.

Also if interested some Costco's still have the 10 piece alarm set on clearance for $79. Employees will need to physically check in the storage room (where ticketed items are stored). I just scored one last week.
