    I'm a dentist, I recommend both this and flossing. This will clean the gums really well, but where the teeth actually touch, the water won't reach so you need the mechanical action of string floss to clean that.

    I got this back in January I think for 14ish. Been using it everyday. Had to start on medium setting and still made my tongue bleed once. Recently switched to high though problem free. There's some getting use to the ergonomics when you first start using it. Don't be surprised if you end up spraying the ceiling, the mirror, and walls.

    I use it to replace flossing for morning and night. But i use regular floss piks between meals.. . might get this for travel. Ive been doing this for years, and have perfectly healthy gums/teeth.

    I've heard from various dentist do one or the other, which is better than nothing I tend to floss couple of times a week and use this in the morning and evening (not the evenings I floss). I have noticed water flossers seem better at getting under the gums which are not in-between your teeth (think the area in front and behind your teeth) since you can't really do this with floss. Not to mention water flossers seem to be great and getting stuck food out really quick. Like popcorn.

    Best 2 use it in shower, just buy a suction cup mirror for $10. No mess no cleanup!

    I went on a trip and needed a portable one.
