Gonna take a chance here, 45 minute round trip. Hopefully no dead pixels or cosmetic issues. Wish me luck!

How much is the warranty for this TV in microcenter?
they have 2 plans. 3 year with accidental screen protection and 4 year (no accidental screen protection). The 3 year plan is more and I do not have the prices but the 4 year was $179. Does NOT cover burn it but everyone says this is no longer a problem with these sets.

Anyone have experience with warranties from Microcenter and/or how much a tv like this might need one? Great price and highly tempted though refurbished OLED do make me somewaht worried.

Just bought one, few scuffs on the stand, small scuff on the screen possibly the coating... Can't see it at all when on it from the viewing distance, can only see close up and hard to see. Very impressed with the tv first oled. Really wanted the 77" but this was the best deal

Picked it up yesterday. Warranty was $220 for 3 years accidental coverage. Doesn't cover burn in, but does cover if the screen gets cracked. I think it covers it only one time. Seems worth it to me for a TV this expensive just for the peace of mind. Mine did have 800 hours on it though. No burn in or dead pixels. I would hope a factory refurb would have a new panel though.

Really? I was specifically told that $219 3 year option DID cover burn in (I didn't get it) but they also had 2 years for $129 and 4 years for $179 that did NOT cover burn in.

I did however buy a $1.99 reusable Micro Center bag alongside my $1100 TV and the cashier laughed at me, haha

If I was looking to purchase I would lean toward new set for 1350 vs 1100+220 with hours issues previously.

I get the discount and get the warranty but it's almost the same cost for the same tv.

I agree, the value for these refurbs seems to be not there for me. I think the discount for a used item should be more than $250. Refurbs should be in the $800-900 price point IMO.

Same experience with the scuffed stand on my unit but the screen appears to be perfect (had a new film on it) and unit has 161 total hours. Going to wall mount it so I don't care about the stand condition. I'm happy and saved almost $300 compared to the Walmart deal.

Unfortunately that deal is now sold out. I figured so. Maybe the next size up gets a deal or I'll just wait for next year's model.. Tv in basement died about month ago

My personal opinion process is to set a mental price point I'm targeting and if it hits that price, buy unemotionally. I'm sure there will be more deals as the C3's are hitting shelves soon and if PC sales are a proxy for consumer electronics purchasing, then they'll likely have excess inventory of new C2's

Y'all love refurbished on here. I would never buy an Oled used electronics are always a gamble anyway and oled are even more of one.I brought b2 oled brand new for 1799 not as good as the c2 but aleast is have Best Buy protection plan and that covers burn in.
As long as you can return the TV just check the screen on time. Save a couple hundred $ for a TV that's been used for 3 hours.

Best buy doesn't cover burn in or physical damage. Micro center extended warranty does.
