I bought this last time and have been happy with it. To be fair, I had never used a bidet before this, so I don't know what to compare it to. Just know that it will blast the skin right off your anus if you go above the "low" water pressure setting.
Just commenting about these non electrical powered or heated bidets in general. While I don't live on the east coast or somewhere that snows, I want to say that the cold water really doesn't bother you after a short while. You don't need the heated water IMO. Also, $20 is a great way to try out a bidet for the first time. If you like the feeling of cleanliness it leaves but still want a heated bidet later, go for it down the line.

A bidet like this is the best $20 you could ever spend when it comes to a quality of life purchase
I know it's probably not the most helpful, but I bought a $15 one on sale for amazon and for $5 more, this one from walmart blew it out of the water in terms of quality

What's a non-self-cleaning one like? 😆

Really like mine that was bought two years ago. No leaking or cracking, but we only weigh 100 -150 lbs. My tap water feels quite cold on my hand, but surprisingly the cold water does not feel very cold on my butt. Smilie

Don't buy them too cheap the hose on one of my cheap ones bursted and flooded the bathroom. Aside from that the one swish hot water to hook from a nearby sink is nice for ~$40 and Luxe has been a fairly durable brand.

That doesn't help at all unless you can tell us which one you got at Walmart…

don't remember when exactly but I bought the hot water version of this bidet, also from WMT link, maybe 5 years ago, installed it for my aging mother, still working. if you go with this, just cold water, installation is a breeze. the hot water one requires you forking it off of hot water line underneath vanity sink, and you'll have to figure out how to run and hide that hot water line to the toilet.

This happened with us with a generic brand bidet, it flooded half the master bedroom, entire bathroom. And flooded the downstairs area. Ended up taking over a year to rebuild due to a shady company the insurance referred my family too. Even their workers stole a couple of my shoes I had in a closet. Of course they couldn't prove it, other than my word since we didn't have indoor cameras

I also have been a user of this Bidet. Agree with everything said above. Hot water feature (in other pricier models) is overrated and needs an electrical outlet. If you are not using any Bidet, just get this - it may be the best $20 or 25 you spent.
Minor correction to above comment: There are many bidets that feature cold and hot water that do not use electricity. You can find them from about $50.

Mine is a LUXE like this one but has both hot and cold water. The hot water line is connected to the sink's hot water valve inside the cabinet. I just drilled a hole to run the line through to the bidet. It's 10 years old and works great.

I will add as someone who lives in ND that this is true for here too EXCEPT when the water sitting in your water line is fresh (aka not water that has been sitting in the pipe for awhile) you can, I repeat, you can get a numb ass. With a household of 2, this isn't so bad most of the time

Adjust the valve on the toilet wall, close it halfway if needed. It will take longer to refill the tank, but at least uranus is saved.
Make sure you keep an eye on leaks. Some of the valves that take 4-5 turns to shutoff are actually designed to be fully open or closed which the plumber called this type of valve a stop valve. It's not an issue with quarter turn valves.

No more ship to store option. That sucks.

Got this two years ago on Black Friday and got a second one last Black Friday. It's 100% worth it, but like others have said, just barely touch the dial your first time unless you're looking for a Suprise Jet Speed Enema.

I have been using this bidet for 3 years. Fix the high pressure with an inline flow control valve or reducer, otherwise the natural pressure of your home decides it. This sale has been going on for maybe half a year now, I bought a second one for the other bathroom.

If you're wondering if you should get a bidet I'll ask you if a dog poops on your arm do you just wipe it off with toilet paper?

It seems silly to me now that we been flushing paper down the toilet this whole time
