That air conditioner is gonna be a sweet deal. It may be only 8,000 BTU but it's a dual hose which makes it a great price. I've been keeping my eye on AC's for a long while now. I actually got that one specifically from Costco over the weekend and paid $473 for it. Gonna request a price difference when the sale starts.

Not really any reviews yet on this and I haven't taken mine out of the box yet since it's not yet the season but I've had different Hisense products throughout the many years and never had an issue before.

I recommend to anyone that doesn't know much about the different between single and dual hose and wants to learn, go watch Technology Connections video on Youtube about portable air conditioners. Very interesting and informative.

They used to be $49.99 on sale for $39.99, but that was for a pack of 6. Now, it's a pack of 8 and a better deal because the unit price is $6.25/brush head compared to $6.67/brush head for the old 6-pack.

Seems like the sales for 2023 are finally getting better, last year to 1.5 have been pretty bad IMO

Are the Greenworks items less expensive in the store than if purchased online? I am specifically thinking of purchasing the mower and leaf blower.

Not sure about these specific ones but most items are generally less expensive when bought in store.

I don't see the gazebo listed in the brochure that's on the cover. Any details on that?
Not sure if someone has made it a reply or not but it's on Page 8 of the PDF and $2,200 after $400 off.

Is the Hisense portable air conditioner a good price? Judging from the past deals, there have been ones with higher BTU with dual hose for a similar price. Perhaps I should wait it out for something better to come, although I do feel better about buying from Costco since they have a really good return policy. Summer is almost here, bet we'll see more sales on these.
We bought this unit (or similar) 3 or so years ago and it just died in the last month. It had no problems keeping our ~400sqft bed room at 65 in the GA summer while we slept.

Decided to replace it with the Midea 12k Inverter dual hose unit before I knew about this sale. I have a 10k u-shaped window unit in my office that I love and heavily swayed my decision.

Honestly if you have a Sam's club nearby, and don't have a membership I would recommend to get that. Sam's app and shopping experience is 1000 times better than Costco. If plus members, lots of perks such as free curbside pick up and free shipping on like 95% of time with plus membership too. You can select any club and see availability too unlike the worlds dumbest app, the Costco app.

Any thoughts on the Vitamix? I have a Nutri Ninja and it struggles with seeds and greens like most lower end blenders. I couldn't find much info on the Vitamix E520 though...

Agree. I belong to Costco and Sam's. I live about 75 miles from both. I can see almost every item Sam's carries online and in store, and being a Plus member, I can have it shipped to my home at the same price it costs in the stores, most of the time. Some items, not many, will be just a little higher in price. Costco will always have higher prices online, to help pay shipping costs, than in stores, most of the time. Costco does not show prices of most items online and most items, unless it's a big ticket item, always says shipping unavailable to my zip code. Costco's return policy is great but I have never had a problem returning anything back to Sam's. The Sam's membership saves me much more money because of the shipping. I use Costco's Visa card to get cash back on all purchases.

I didn't say it was only about price. I can buy things at each store that the other ones do not carry. But of course, price is a consideration. Otherwise, why shop at a warehouse club?
And I didn't say you did. What we're saying is the price difference is not enough for some of us to dare step in to the Walmart universe.

The Dual-Hose AC deserves it's own post. 8,000 BTU/hr is on the low side but it's so much more efficient than a single-hose. If a window unit won't work for you and you're cooling a bedroom, buy this. In summer you'll be lucky to find a dual hose for under $550.

Be careful... I don't know what's going on but lately Sams has been charging more for the same items Costco carries and that's a first for them. I used to take for granted that Sams was always cheaper but I've caught them gouging on some items... like Smuckers pb&j sandwiches kerry gold butter.

I noticed this does heating. Anyone have experience with this? Living in the north east I might snag one or two to heat a 550 sqft space. This is going to be way more energy efficient than a regular space heater.
