Fakespot doesn't work. It used to work during a period when Amazon was lax with reviews and sellers wrote their own with empty profiles and poor grammar. But Amazon has since cracked down on obviously fake reviews, reviews without purchase, and even reviews written by people who got a deep discount. So now sellers find American reviewers through closed Facebook groups, have them buy the product themselves, and then reimburse them 100-120% via PayPal for a detailed, positive review. These are virtually impossible to detect. Amazon does keep shutting down high volume reviewers from time to time nevertheless merely on suspicion. Fakespot algorithms have long become irrelevant and now they're just random numbers.

That shows it going from $30 in jan to $13 now? According to CCC had been $35 from 2021 until the price began to fall in 2023.

Many reviews listed for an item dont even apply top the listed item anymore.

More padding does not mean a more comfortable bike seat. It is normally the exact opposite. More padding means more pressure points. Ideally you want a seat that fits your specific sit bones.

exactly this. wide seats fit female anatomy, but men generally need a narrower saddle... and a cutout for the perineum

Definitely, last seat I bought, I did the seat bone cardboard test. Bought a seat with the measurements. Huge difference. I had been getting foam cushioned ones. I have a disk hernia that hits the nerve occasionally and the proper fit seat stop spasms while riding.
