I liked this keyboard but I went through three of them in a month. I think there's an issue with the wiring or grounding because they just kept dying. The switches aren't hot swappable either, so if one goes bad, throw out the whole keyboard. I'd recommend spending a little more money on something that's hot swappable and not this particular board.

Blue switches are almost always the cheapest across every brand out there.

They are the least popular lol

Why are blue switch keyboards never on sale?

Pretty good deal though if you want a red switch keyboard.

No volume knob or I'd try it.

I have the TKL version from the BF deal, definitely can recommend it. The way people have described the Aqua switches is to think of brown switches, but with less actuation force needed. Only thing I'd recommend is getting a wooden palm rest like this one [amazon.com] to go with it.

The ONE downside I can think of is the customization. The amount/depth of key customization isn't quite up there as it is with say Logitech's keyboard softwarae. But I don't customize a ton, so not an issue for me.

This keyboard has been the best keyboard I've owned. It's rock solid and quality.

I have the aqua switches and they're a dream. No issues and I've have the keyboard for well over a year, maybe even two at this point.

Only thing that I don't like is the ugly ass logo above the numpad. I actually used acetone to remove it.

Just got one of these with Aqua switches and two RK61s with brown switches. The keys feel much nicer on this and I love the heavy aluminum body.

Fantastic keyboard for the price. Aluminum body, detachable USB-C, RGB. Grab yourself a good set of PBT keycaps and you have a very solid prebuilt keyboard for an excellent price.

I've also outgrown most of these gaming keyboards, but I started with HyperX and the red switches are super smooth and don't change much with lubing. Also, mine still works fine, not sure how they crapped out for others. But to others' points, this has no volume knob or other features, and I wouldn't want a ten key for gaming. Still, these have some of the best linear switches you'll find on a production gaming keyboard.

Great keyboard. Love the woke leds. Mods hate the word woke.
I hear Aircraft Aluminum is woke as well, if this keyboard doesn't fly through the air with the grace of a 747 then i'm going to call it false advertising.

I've had this keyboard since December 2021. I've always loved it (after using a buddy's at a lan party many years ago) and finally buckled and bought it at $80. Still wasn't upset.

I've just linked multiple friends to this deal, since I feel it is a steal at $53.

Also, if you really want the RGB coloring to show, go ahead and spend the extra $15 and buy the pudding caps. So much brighter and more noticeable.

Noob question, What is PBT keycaps for? Does it make a different compared to the original keycaps of this keyboard?

Double shot PBT keycaps (in general) are of much higher quality than ABS keycaps like the ones on this HyperX. They are thicker, better sounding, better feeling, and are way less prone to show fingerprints/dirt/oil.

They also don't ever fade because it's actual translucent plastic creating the lettering instead of screen printing on the letters.
