You're going to be sore from cutting sod using that tool. It's like using scissors to cut your lawn.

If you manage to insert it exactly between the vertebrae you'll only feel a slight pressure rather than any pain.

Takes a few tries to get it right.

If you are visiting Europe soon, the Tesco version of these runs $4. I bought 5 of them to give to friends while visiting in-laws last summer.

I've owned the Tesco one for 9 months and have forgotten it outside a couple times, no rust or anything. I originally expected it to be really low quality, but it's really good.

Think cracks, concrete, edges under weed rock back on lip to get leverage to lift weed out
