Side note, I extended my warranty for super cheap. The Legion Ultimate Support (many get 1 year included) is the best around for the price. You can add another year for around $50 I think. use code REMOTE10 for 10% off. It shows up in the Vantage software. For me, this was just piece of mind. Never had a hiccup though to be honest.

I recently bought an open box G15 for $1K but it hasn't been delivered yet. Wondering if the Lenovo is worth the extra $300.
IMO, as long as it can still rock a high framerate, you can choose between resolution and framerates based on preferences. Pretty well balanced... 165Hz and 2K hits that balance perfectly

this one also has thunder bolt 3/4 if that means anything to u, the newer refresh with the 4070 and 4060 do not

Build is solid - has a premium feel to it.
It's smoking fast - burns through everything I throw at it.
I'm pretty impressed with portability. The battery life for regular use is better than my Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 2, which really blew my mind. It's also not as heavy as I expected - while not exactly a feather, it doesn't feel significantly heavier than my Thinkpad.
I opted to perform a couple of upgrades, which were about as easy as can be - with the exception that getting the bottom panel off was a bit more work than usual because it's so nicely fitted (used a guitar pick as a pry). RAM install of 32GB (2x16GB) was straight forward. Installing a larger M2 HD was also easy - and I like that it has 2 slots, so now I have 2 internal drives.
At this time, my main gripes are:
- The power brick is a BRICK - you could bludgeon someone with this thing. I opted to pick up a 'slim' 230w on eBay for about $50 as my travel power supply to shave off some weight/size, but it also is not particularly small/light.
- There's no 'Hello' supported hardware. This somewhat surprised me as every PC I've bought for the last several years has had either a good enough webcam or a built in fingerprint reader. As a workaround, I bought one of the $15 dongles that's been advertised on here several times recently - works well enough for my purposes.
