That's what I was thinking. I don't really see why this is a good deal compared to the Intel at the same price. I'm wondering if there's a reason why someone would choose this one.

No, they're both DRAM-less QLC drives (perfectly fine at this price point). I'd probably go with Intel for the name brand, personally, but this Teamgroup has a 5 year warranty so it's fine too.
My experience with TeamGroup: I purchased a 64 GB UFD. It was marked as 64GB. 2 different computers recognized it as only 32GB. They said reformat. Several formats later same problem. They sent me an RMA and said insure it and ship it to China (my cost). My point is how does something like this happen. A flash drive labeled as 64gb but really only 32gb. Lack of quality control.............
I ordered the Intel yesterday (84.99 through Micro Center on Amazon). Unless you have some need for an insane number of writes, the Intel really can't be beat. They seem like they really tuned it for the things you use a drive for (Windows boot time and game loading). And if you're stuck on a Gen3 motherboard, this is still going to give you top end performance in the things that actually matter.
