Inflation has gotten so out of hand that the cheapest thing at McDonalds is like $2.30. I remember when they had an actual $1 menu several years ago. Going from $1 to $2 is 100% inflation. Now that's a large increase in inflation!

Yeah, those dollar menus are starting to become a thing of the past.

However, those $1 bean and cheese burritos from Taco Bell are delicious for the price IMHO. 2 of them is my go to struggle meal. Very filling. Wendy's has $1 Dave's single which is a steal right now.

Remember when Taco bell used to have $1 half-pound burritos? That was peak Taco bell. You'd get $2 worth of burritos (1lb) and be absolutely stuffed. $2 dinner. What a time to be alive that was.

for the price of a McDonald's cheap burger, I can get a discounted (late evening everyday) lemon pepper flavored rotisserie chicken at Walmart. inflation is so bad ass at McDonald's

you are much better off getting the large fries for 1.19 no other purchase needed. There was one day where they were giving out free 6 pieces here and I got 4 of them and I wasn't full..So me personally I find their 1.19 large fries provides better value.

they were 1/4 pound but yes. Of course this was like 20 yrs ago though.

2 mcdoubles are 3.50
pair with large fries coupon. Thats a pretty decent size meal for under $5 with tax. But yes, everything everywhere has gone up. Dk when the last time y'all ate out but a simple burrito is like 10lbs. I could buy 2 pounds of meat and make my own burrito but of course people have been having these discussions for decades. It didn't just start, we are just getting old. Same reason my grandmother used to tell me she could make me a hamburger that tastes better than McDonald's, even though it didn't it was cheaper.

Inflation so bad, they're charging $0.20 per sauce for nuggets? It used to be 1 per 6pcs and 5 per 20 pcs. I don't know why they have the $1 $2 $3 deals when the cheapest is $2.49.

I spent $1 to buy a small soda cup and get this 6 pc Chicken McNuggets. I paid $0.07 sales tax. Total $1.07.
I paid it with Apple Pay that links to my Robinhood Debit Card. I will get ($0.93 round up x Avg Robinhood cashback bonus 40% )=$0.37 cash back.

So, $1.07 - $0.37 =$0.7 for the small drink+ nuggets. Not a bad deal. Im loving it.
