How often do you expect these recommendations to change? I mean, the last update for safe recommended temperatures was in 2011, so I doubt you have much to worry about.

I'm not really sure. Didn't expect any change in the first place since chicken is still chicken and red meat is still red meat. I guess that is the point.

I smoked my first chicken breast to 165. Wow what a mistake. Then I learned there's a whole chart of X temp for Y minutes sustained is safe.
