For those of you that have a Trader Joe's nearby, you can get a 4 pack of 100% New Zealand wool dryer balls for around $5. They work great with a few drops of lavender oil too.

This brand is awesome my last set lasted 5 years and still look great. Never babied them or had to take care of them in any way or form.

I like these, but they did dent my LG drier drum…. So be careful if your dryer is large like ours as the wings in the dryer drum that toss clothes up in the air seem to launch these with enough of a drop to dent the drum if you aren't drying a full load of clothes and there's a lot of air space in the drier. They are high quality and work well though other than that from my experience.

My balls have been working fine for much longer. You just have to fluff them up every so often by gently massaging to soften them back up. Frequent use can cause them to compact and shrivel a bit.

Has anyone seen a drastic improvement by doubling the number of the dryer balls during a cycle? So putting in 12 vs 6?

These wool balls don't work. I got the best ones and the cheap ones they both work the same. Meaning they both don't do what it is suppose to do. Save you money and don't be a sheep.

Same result using old tennis balls. (New off brand tennis balls are less than $2/3pack)

Let's try banging then around in a steel drum for awhile and see how they hold up.
