So using real specs this is probably similar to the Husqvarna 2000 psi 1.2gpm electric that I got on clearance at Costco for 99 bucks. Yes? I haven't opened it yet so if there is a compelling reason to get a different model I am still open to it but I know these Sunjoes inflate specs like crazy
Anyone have this unit and care to comment? My 5 year old electric bargain model sunjoe just bit the bullet.
Thank you.
I've owned a SPX3000 (the classic universal motor), SPX3500 (induction, previous model to this SPX3550), and SPX2688 (cheap universal motor).
I can't tell really cleaning power difference between any of them. The SPX3500 is probably marginally more powerful but not in a meaningful way: gas is still significantly better. I'm guessing there's only so much that can be done with 12 amps.
The induction SPX3500 is significantly quieter and feels to be more robustly constructed and is worth a premium. If you can get a universal motor one for <$100 I'd buy that and spend the difference on a nicer hose, otherwise I'd buy this.
I wish SunJoe made a smaller wheelless model like the Karcher K1700 Cube: the wheels and onboard storage never seem to work well and I'd rather have a compact hand-carry power unit and just loop the hose and power cable on my garage wall.
I decided to go with this one myself. Has anyone used the surface cleaner attachment with sunjoe? I'd be using to clean a small concrete pool deck if that's relevant to the opinion.
Thanks.

My concern would be the return policy. Probably not easy to return like Amazon or Costco.
Thanks.
