Rub a strong magnet on your screwdriver, which will magnetize it. It's not a permanent solution but should last about a year.

I have over 10 of these around the house and everywhere as they were cheap in price. They have been very dependable and held up better than most I have used.

Free is always cool, but just a heads up that these are terrible screwdrivers. Keep it around the house for minor tasks, but if you put it on anything that requires torque, they bend up super easily.

Your going to need a free glove to go with that. The rubber inlays on the handle gets nice a gooey in just a few years

The good: its free, Harbor Freight is getting back into freebies.

The bad: its free, low quality, no magnetic bits.

The conclusion: Why not? If you have a Harbor Freight close by. Probably not worth a long trip though.

like the person said above don't use this on anything muscle it will strip right out.

These are nice.
Works well for the average home owner needs.
Good grip, not slippery.
Convenient reversible head with reversible bits on each end takes care of big and small flat and Phillips.
The way the grip and head are designed, you won't be able to get into the narrowest, deepest holes, so you'll need to wait and pickup Harbor Freight's free standard screwdriver set for those screws.
Bit are hard enough IMO that most will have a good chance stripping Phillips screws before the bits reach their breaking point. No issues driving screws into drywall and wood.
Got them in my cars since pre-covid. No issues - looks new, no grip degradation.
With any "rubberized" grip, alcohols can degrade some materials to a gooey mess fast. Just use water-based cleaners.
