Tempting! There is also the 181 version of inflator that as far as I can tell adds 40 psi (160 psi max) and is said to flow more air. Both the 180 and 181 have auto shut-off at a programmable pressure, and both require you to hold the trigger while pumping. Most people use a Velcro strap to hold the trigger for larger tires.
FWIW, I have both this and the Ridgid 18V inflator. I'm a huge LXT fanboi, but the Ridgid blows the Makita out of the water. It's built better and doesn't need to be attended while it's doing its thing -- just set the target pressure and walk away, unlike the Makita that needs someone/something to hold the trigger, which is a bigger PITA than you might think until you've had both.
Personally, even without the Ridgid, I wouldn't buy this again. If all you're doing is bike tires and footballs, it's probably fine. Otherwise, the Ridgid is a better investment, even if it means buying into a different ecosystem. (The 18V Ridgid 1/2" impact is also my go-to over two different LXT impacts, and it pains me to say that considering what they cost.)

Yeah, it's silly that there isn't one-button functionality, but I also understand the limitation of these motors is that they are easy to ruin if you run them continuously for high pressure, high volume. They work fine if you make sure to rest them between tires. (The manual says to cycle it 5 minutes on/ 5 minutes off.) I have the CXT version which I bought it when it came out. I use it mostly for light truck tires, and it has been far far more reliable than the cigarette-lighter inflators I was buying over and over. Similar idea, I usually wedge a block under the trigger.
