The description is correct, but it's not abundantly clear that the ratchet is NOT Fuel, just regular M12. Still a good deal though

Are they trying to get rid of all the ratchets? This is why they all bundled into every deal?

Solid deal! Got a similar package about 2 yrs ago for $200, but mine came with the oscillating tool rather than the ratchet. This is definitely the first drill/driver I reach for.

They're really nice - highly recommended if you find yourself working with fasteners in tight spaces often (e.g. cabinetry/assembly, or even drilling holes for rough electrical). Really just a surprisingly powerful drill/driver in general. Love the front magnets for holding a few extra double-ended bits. Great build quality, tight tolerances, and ergonomics. The forward/reverse toggle can take a little getting used to, but the interchangeable heads are very quick/easy to swap out.

Yep. But fwiw, lots of folks actually prefer this non fuel model over the fuel version. The head is smaller and able to reach into tight places better. I grabbed this to go along with my Fuel and Fuel high speed versions.

So with this you get the Fuel drill/driver without a Fuel battery and the m12 ratchet with 2 m12 batteries? New to the Milwaukee ecosystem here and not sure on compatibility, is m12/Fuel different batteries or just different tools that take the same battery? I really just want the non-Fuel ratchet myself, not sure if this is the right buy.

I have this ratchet and it's really awesome if you like working on cars. If I was to put a value/price tag on it, I would say definitely get it if you can get the tool only for under $89

M12 batteries power M12 Fuel tools.

The compact 2.0AH batteries that come with this are fine for most M12 Fuel tools (including this driver), but when it comes to higher demand tools like their circular saw, hatchet chainsaw, or impact wrench, you generally want the bigger 6.0 AH or new 5.0 high output model for the tool to run at its best.

Milwaukee's Fuel technology refers to the motor and electronics as in brushless and the communication between the motor load and the battery level/temperature. Fuel has nothing to do with battery and therefore will work with any battery.

The Fuel designation is only for tools, not batteries, and it means it is a brushless electric motor. The new line of "High Output" M12 batteries will work with any M12 tool, they just pack a little more "oomph" for tools like the circular saw or SDS hammer, and give you a longer runtime. Any M12 battery *will* work, they just won't last as long. Hope that clears it up for you!

Yep yep.

The new High Output batteries will give all Fuel tools some more power and time, but the regular batteries do just fine with most tools in most situations.
