How do you get $25,490?
There's another $5000 in state credits available to low- and moderate-income Oregonians.
It is, for ONE specific trim of the Model 3, being reduced to $3750 because the rules for qualification changed a bit.
For all other versions of Model 3- and all versions of Model Y- it remains at $7500.
Note many OTHER evs are losing at least $3750 (or all $7500 in some cases)--- the Mustang Mach E for example loses it across all versions of the vehicle.
EV in San Diego makes no sense from a equivalent mpg perspective.
I think it goes by purchase date if you're inquiring in relation with tax credit. Not delivery date. You can go into teslas website and build a car and get an estimate on delivery date. There is plenty of inventory so you should be able to get it soon.

They adjusted for me. I have ordered few days back and my account is now reflecting with new price. Had a chat with the rep thru message and process was smooth.
I currently own a 2019 Model 3 SR+ with 49K miles. The car is noisy and the battery has degraded to a point I'm getting about 120 miles range on spirited driving with 80% charge.
I also have a 2023 Model Y LR with 18" wheels. The car is quiet in the front due to the dual pane front windows, but the back is really noisy and there's some droning from the rear. Long trips and road imperfections will give you a headache.
Tesla removed the ultrasonic sensor and introduced Tesla Vision which sucks big time. You have to wait for it to start up and calibrate every time you get in the car and often it said not available.
WARNING: I'm in San Jose, there are 3 service centers around me and I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment with Tesla service to fix a cracked washer reservoir and a bad driver heated seat.
The service tech is somewhat incompetent at fixing the heated seat. I showed them the temperature with an infrared thermometer and after the diagnostic, they said it was normal.
Also, they make you agree to a $129 diagnostic fee for a car under warranty.
Remember that it's easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar so don't be a jerk on the phone with your demands and you will usually get farther. Unless that doesn't work then you become a Karen/Kevin and start demanding to speak to someone's manager.
You can get around on a bicycle too. Or a Geo metro. If you can't afford it, that's cool. Some of us can though. Not everything in life is amount saving every penny.

This is not correct.
It's still the full $7500 through April 17th for all models of 3/Y.
From April 18 is when the new rules kick in-- and it's still $7500 for everything from Tesla that got it before- except the RWD Model 3 which drops to $3750.
There are no changes at all to the $4000 used EV credit.

It's absolutely is. Name another 9.2 second 4 door sedan for the money. Hell, name me another 10 second sedan for that amount. There's nothing that touches its performance for the money.
