Tesla nickels and dimes you. You have to pay for mobile charger, charger installation, non-refundable order fee, extra delivery fee, etc. It adds up. Chevy doesn't make you pay for any of that.
Teslas comes with a modular charger that has a NEMA 5-15 and NEMA 14-50 adapters included so you can charge off a regular 120v or 240v.

I don't know what the Bolt ships with today, but it use to only come with a 120v charger so you immediately had to purchase as 240v charger.

The SC lawyer just got life in prison after they showed his Onstar data. Plus there's camera's everywhere. I have an earlier model Y and it's been great. Nice car, fast. It has it quirks like any car. Maybe a bit over priced but with the acceleration you feel like you're getting something for it. It's fun to drive. Not everyone's cup of tea but that can be said about any expensive vehicle.

Ceo is a total DB. No thanks. Bad car quality- quality issues. Overly too simplistic too. There are much better EV's coming out here in the next 2 years. Don't give that DB your money.

California can't even keep the lights on as it is. Add more electric cars in that state and people will be calling into work with "I'm sorry boss, I can't make it, I couldn't charge my car last night".

Wow. Is it just constant blackouts? Please tell me more.

I'm looking at a 2020 Model Y Performance for 47k with Enhanced. Would it be worth the 10k extra to get a 2023 Model Y performance with performance??

Sure, if you have $48,000 in cash laying around and can buy next week. I personally would go with the bolt. It's almost $20k cheaper and pretty much the same car.

Lol cheap skate

If you don't qualify for the tax credit you shouldn't be spending 50-60k on a car.

7500 you need to make at least 75+k a year.

Below that should not buy any ev until they become affordable

90% of population should not be buying ev or over 30k vehicles
I agree with everything you said aside from the "you need to make at least 75+k a year. Below that should not buy any ev until they become affordable" part considering the Chevy Bolt starts at $26k and is currently eligible for the full $7500. It's expected to drop down to the $3750 tax credit, but still with it starting at $26k, that is an insanely good deal.

I bought mine at $33k with the full $7500 tax credit, and no exaggeration, this car has more options and tech than my 2018 Lexus had. Pretty impressive coming from an entry-level vehicle that's ICE, let alone an actual EV.

People been saying that since the original Model S in 2012... still not true.

I'm not gonna argue about how much anybody likes the CEO... but then I suspect most buyers of most other car brands can't even NAME the CEO of the brand, let alone if they agree with his politics or not. Heck the CEO and Chairman of Nissan and Mitsubishi (well, former now) has spent years in prison but I don't think anybody skipped buying an Altima because of it.

Do you even realize how much electric it takes to refine oil? Stop refining oil and there will be more than enough electric left over for charging cars. As demand for fuel tapers off, less fuel will be refined, freeing up more power to charge.

You really should work on trying to not let your bias and misinformation run rampant.

Model 3 dropped $1000 BUT the $7500 tax credit is going away, so not really a price drop unless you have cash to buy one before April 18
I owned 2 Bolts (17 -21) drove it for 70k miles combined now own an ID.4. The Bolts fast charging SUCKS. I dont know about the 23 but the 21 was sub 100
