Their vehicles feel really cheap. You can feel it when driving. You can see it when body panels aren't even. Fit and Finish is very important as well as NVH noise vibration harshness. They have good technology but you also are at their whims of updates or no updates. Or if they start taking options away by way of software updates.
A lot of friends with Tesla's remark about fit and finish issues of Tesla's.

When was the last time you tried a new Tesla? Ever since the full ramp-up of new factories, the issues with new deliveries are almost non-existent.

I hold Nissan quality and longevity to at least Toyota-level, which I believe is saying something.
It's funny you say that, 1998 4Runner for our roadtrips, it runs like a top! LEAF for ALL driving around town!

The credit is expected to drop from $7500 to $3750 for the RWD (base) Model 3 due to its battery coming from CATL.

All other versions of the Model 3 are still expected to retain the full $7500 credit, as their batteries are made in Nevada.

Which model 3s have the LFP batteries ?

Sure, if you have $48,000 in cash laying around and can buy next week. I personally would go with the bolt. It's almost $20k cheaper and pretty much the same car.

Can't compare bolt quality to Tesla. You get what you pay for.

At this point you are better off depositing your cash into a savings account or 9 month cd. Recession not even close to being over.

Not really. According to most car reviewers and Consumer Reports. Nissan was never in the Toyota/Honda quality category. They may be improving recently, though.

Yes, i guess so are just so above all of us, huh, not caring what kind of car you drive at all. Good for you.

Edit: I am not crazy about the looks of a Tesla either. I get it, it's polarizing. There are some people who love it and some who don't. But at least it's not a Bolt. Don't get me wrong, a Bolt has its place and purpose. A good-looking stylish car, it is NOT. I think every non-Bolt owner (and probably many Bolt owners) will agree to that. I think if you are in a professional building parking lot, being seen walking out of a Bolt would be downright an embarrassment. Ok, some of you are above looks and materialism, good for you. The rest of the world doesn't operate that way. You can potentially find the president of a company drive a Tesla, but you are not going to find one driving a Bolt. Not the president of a real company with 50+ employees (unless he/she is so big and rich he is doing it just to prove a point like Bill Gates). Let's be real hear.

Comparing a Bolt to a Tesla has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. They both have their merits and their weak points, but they are COMPLETELY different types of cars for different target audiences. It's like comparing a Bolt to a golf cart. Both do their jobs well, just meant for different purposes. So stop with the stupid comparisons.

Agreed!!! You can't compare apples and oranges. The quality of Tesla is no way compared to the bolt. Some just don't know their cars and only look at price points.

I like to hunt down Teslas in a parking lot and park my old beat up car right next to it no matter where the parking spot is

So someone's car choice matters to you that much? Wow.

What's weird is that I ordered a MY LR at the end of January, and they changed my delivery date from march to april/may. Not sure what's up with the long wait
Exactly what happened to me! Long wait, a couple of changed delivery dates - initially end of Feb, then end of March, now mid-April to mid-May. I am sick of getting jerked around and am pretty sure that I am going to cancel my order. Has anyone canceled an order and disputed the $250 order fee successfully with their credit card?

I am new to the US, an immigrant. I arrive in mid 2022. And my joint income for year 2022 is less than 300K. But it won't be the case in 2023. So should I buy this in cash before April 18th to get 7500$ credit ?
Appreciate any advice as I am still figuring out US Tax System.

How is comparing a road car to a road car the same as comparing a road car to a golf cart? Pretty sure bolt and tesla are meant for the same purpose. Ya know, as actual cars.
