Hybrids have no future. If you think anyone will maintain and replenish gas stations for vehicles using gas as a "backup", you're lying to yourself.
Same reason hydrogen is a dead end. No one will invest in the infrastructure.

I agree with your first 5 paragraphs.
In 12 years, I guarantee we still will be driving gas cars and there will be news stories asking "What happened to electric cars?" Or, "Can we make electric cars happen this time in 2037? Dr. Eric Haas Might Have the Secret."

It will be like flying cars, BS the news uses for cheap clicks that will never see the light of day, or in this case, full adoption.

Chevy equinox EV is 30k and other manufacturers are adding more EV options to the market will push prices down on Tesla.

After test driving a 22 MY LR this weekend, and comparing it to my M340. I think we are going to pick up an X3M40. I was very disappointed with the fit and finish of the car, which didn't seem as good as our 2017 GTI.

Yeah, I have heard them all. And yes the "shadowbanning" goes on right here on slick deals.

And the truth is EVs, Teslas, don't sell without government incentives. Even Elon knows this, that;s why he lowered the price on the Y until he negotiated calling that an SUV. The Y is a crossover, not an SUV. IF you don't think this is true, these threads are proof. Everyone trying to buy before rebate is cut or gone altogether. How many said they would cancel without it

I don't think new model "2023 Model Y" $49,990 is a dual motor. it is not mentioned anywhere. I may be wrong but I think Dual motor start with LR

You are certainly wrong. It is built in Texas and uses the 4680 battery technology. It has a slightly shorter range than the LR. Those are the differences.

Yes based on your proof a y cost more than a bolt, but saying 5k here is kind of misleading....

I pay $140 a month for a 2019 Model 3 and 2023 Model X (upgraded from 2019 X) insurance with a 3 drivers, one being a 16yr old. Paid more without teen and non Tesla vehicles prior

On the page where you make your selection between Model Y, Model Y Long Range, and Model Y Performance, it says right above that "Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive". They are all dual motor which is why it has that single label. Compare to the Model 3 page, where you have a Rear Wheel Drive section and the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive sections.

Model 3 RWD Priced at $41990, Federal and state rebates could literally make it less than 20k, !! If you are family of 4 and earning less than $111,000 in CA! CA has recharge facilities everywhere. go for it.

Picking up my MYLR later this week. Anybody has the inspection video I should watch? I know there's panel issues, paint, etc.

What do I need to look out for?
