I posted both those deals, both were available just a few days ago and this one received a good number of upvotes. The intel model has almost double the horsepower and works better with the RTX 3080. Anyone considering that would know that is a pretty good deal, if not a great one, for just $100 more than the AMD variant.

Would be better to have some knowledge on the subject before commenting.

Some got the AMD version for $1200 by removing support option but it no longer work… wish it still the case then this would be a perfect laptop for the price

Do Alienware laptops still run super hot? My friend's Alienware of 3 years gets so hot it can comfortably heat up a 175 sq.ft room while you're playing your favorite game. I wonder how it still functions given the laptop is at it's peak temp all the time.

NO, please DO NOT REMOVE THE SERVICE. I ordered the AMD one removing the service. I got my machine today and when I tried to boot it, the laptop kept warning me that there is no hard drive. I went to BIOS and it said both ssd slots are empty. I called the tech support and they told me I didn't purchase the warranty and they couldn't help me. I called the sale team and the only option the customer care gave me was to return it. It really sucks but I'm finally relieved from this sh*t.

I picked one of the AMD versions of this up. Added Dell 10% coupon, Amex $250 off, and about $350 in Amex points. Sweet laptop! The screen is great, audio is okay, fan noise is on the high side of okay, battery life is decent, and performance is great. Nice keyboard and trackpad too, even though the symbols are upside down (! is below 1 for example).
